It starts simple enough. Crowds are still a lot to take in, and someone tries to pull River into some game of pairing up strangers when she latches onto Hiccups hand and gets a reply of, "Sorry, didn't know you was spoken for." Then they're shuffled through the sea of faces and pink streamers, River still holding his hand like a lifeline, getting comments about their couplehood.
